SCEP Partners involved in the project
British Refugee Council (UK),  Asylkoordination (Austria)

Duration
December 2012 - May 2014

Project Description
The Right to Justice project looks at the issue of access and quality of legal assistance for unaccompanied children in various migration and asylum procedures in 7 countries (Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Denmark, Italy, Spain and the UK). A comparative report will be published, based on research in the 7 countries covered. The study will look at conditions and availability of legal assistance, training and qualifications of the legal advisers, as well as how the children's views are taken into account. A workshop of experts will also be organised to exchange information, good practices and challenges, as well as to discuss the draft recommendations to be included in the final report.
